Larry and His Flask ... a good night. Until the girl selling t-shirts said "and whose parents are you?"

Blonde wrote:Muse were amazing last night. A great setlist and show. Probably my favourite gig this year.
I was at this one! Also the two Emirates Stadium shows and Etihad Stadium shows. On barrier for all of them ... lots of queuing fun with friends. I've seen Muse a lot and setlist and production-wise I think these have been the best yet. I was just blown away ... figuratively and almost literally (that giant fireball at the beginning ... haha). I loved how the show was just massive, but at the same time felt very intimate whenever they came down to the thrust stage. I honestly can't gush enough about this band. Have to say the highlight for me was the fact that I got to hear Unintended, my favorite song on the planet, for the first time ever, and then three more times! And Blackout, Dead Star, Bliss, Sunburn, etc. etc. etc. ...
As if those weren't enough, while I was over there Muse announced a free gig at Horse Guards Parade in London, the day I was meant to fly back to the U.S. So I changed my flight and went to that too. It was a bit of a fiasco to get back to that from Manc, but man was it worth it. One more great night with my friends and my favorite band.

Saw Muse last night in Amsterdam. Spectacular show, what a setlist! Did not really except such a good show, definitely worth the money!

Fall Out Boy, yes I did. Gave daughter a ride, but ended up watching the show. Really good setlist- balance of old and new. Good energy. Crowd not the totally teen crowd I expected. Great venue. Fun night!

I saw the brilliant Mutefish busking in Grafton Street yesterday. It was a beautiful sunny day and I stayed for the full set.
Does that count as a gig? It was as good as one!

Oh my, that was sooo good! But I must say, I was surprised at so many disinterested people. Tough way to make a living. Can't blame you for staying a while.

That was pretty cool! At about 3 mins in I was thinking there's no way this guy can keep speeding up the pace...and yet he did.

Last night I saw Neil Young with Crazy Horse at the RDS. I have seen Neil only three or four times over the years, but he never disappoints.
Support was by the Waterboys, who were good but I have seen them better.

Last night I saw Bruce Springsteen at Wembley Stadium...... absolutely incredible. The whole of Wembley was on their feet rocking!!

Played for about 3hrs 20mins I think and played whole of the "Darkness On The Edge of Town" album, the usual crowd favourites and a few songs that don't get played all that much.

I'm jealous, iwillnotgrowup! I have yet to experience one of Bruce's full album shows.
