I'm going to see Aereogramme in Oxford on Thursday which I'm looking forward to a lot! And Regina Spektor on Saturday in Bristol.

Saw her at Latitude Festival last year. Didnt enjoy it very much. Somehow she ended up being known as Vagina Cuntmunch ever since

Haha. She was the highlight of Truck Festival for me last year.

her voice kind of winds me up, although I can tell it's belting - you know? The tone just rubs a spot on my unconscious that makes me homicidal.

I know what you mean, and on cd I agree to an extent. Thought she was incredible live though.

Apologies for the blatant spam, but the number of people who have entered this competition is laughable, and I'm sure more want to enter.

MASTODON Tickets Competition (win a pair to any of the four dates listed)

I've heard one or two tracks off her myspace, so I'm kind of intrigued now. Need to go out and get hold of some of her stuff.

Haha! Erm, it's actually decided by the random number generator at www.random.org (possibly the most misleading name for a website ever), but since you're not the first entrant, I'd say you were in for a better than average chance.

I'd recommend the new one first 'Begin to Hope'.

Did they temporarily split a few years back? 'Evil powers of rock 'n' roll' is amazing.

i checked some out after frank nearly filled his trousers about her the other day. very nice, i like her voice. it reminds me a little of of joanna newsoms but less medieval folk pixie and more, erm, playful(?).
