c'mon, i'm many things but vain? My hair needs cutting more than yours!

I've bought tickets for the last Johnny Truant London show. Never been a big fan but a) it's cheap and b) it's at Water Rats and i want to go as still yet to.

That's a bizarre reason for going to a gig. You might like it there as you're tall, but if busy, that place is a fucking nightmare.

You could always come and see McPherson there with us tomorrow if you're that eager to see that place

Yeah, they were amazing as ever. I got there terribly late and in a terribly foul mood thanks to the trains, missed all the supports, got there with 5 mins before they took the stage but as soon as they did my spirits were lifted. What If... appears to be a staple song in the set now, they did it back in the summer at Dingwalls which I believe was one of, if not the, first time they did it, and through browsing youtube it appears to be a regular.

Going to see Shikari again tomorrow night at the Mean Fiddler, hopefully a) their sound wont be as bad as The Underworld and b) my phone wont get stolen again.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, although the sound upstairs was dogshit. We sacrificed sound for a view basically, but it was ace. Only played from the first three albums, which are hands down the best work they've done, so I was happy.

Reasonably hungover today, mind.

Fingers crossed. Get one of those "fashionable with dads everywhere in the 90s" phone-belt clips.

Make sure you get there in time for the support band Fell Silent. Really good groovy metal kinda stuff. They've produced one of the best albums of the year imo, and are usually insanely tight live, so well worth watching.

Sorry if it looks like a rip off man, in all fairness I was thinking of a couple of people's 18th's a few years back at the time, and it kind of caught on. Rest assured it's just a wee birthday gig.
