I was supposed to go and see them on Wednesday, but couldn't be arsed as I was really tired. Dani said they were pretty good. havent actually seen them in a really long time.

Was expecting a few more golden oldies, but it didn't happen. Yes, I was one of those cunts who think it's cool to shout out songs to play, knowing full well that they've got a set list. First time I've seen them without Paul, and it was painfully obvious that he was missing :(

I have to agree there. I dont think they have really recovered from his departure. He was my favourite.

saw them in bristol last night. as amazing as ever.

except for the cunts next to us who were talking loudly through most of the gig and making comments like 'yeah, i wouldn't buy the new stuff' and 'this must be a new one, i'm off to the toilet' and 'i didn't get to bed til 12.30 last night'. someone told them to shut up though, which was a relief.

Dan Le Sac Vs. Scroobius Pip tonight was, without a doubt, one of the best concerts I've ever witnessed.

Good call on Le Sac vs Pip, been meaning to see them for ages.
And just ordered my Manchester Orchestra tickets! (they're not a real orchestra, you know)

According to somebody who went to the Brighton gig:

Catastrophe & The Cure
Memorial
Welcome, Ghosts
Yasmin The Light
Your Hand In Mine
So Long, Lonesome
The Birth & Death Of The Day
The Moon Is Down

And that was my best effort of hiding the set list in case somebody else DIDN'T want to see it.

i think this is very close to the truth - maybe with the last two songs the other way round. i am very bad at remembering the names of eits songs though. they didn't play an encore, which was surprising - especially as the whole crowd stayed clapping and cheering for an encore even when the venue music and lights had come back on.

David seems to have thwarted your genial plan there.
