mud filled bucket sums up what the sound was like quite well. i really enjoyed it and when they were spot on it was ace, but there were plenty moments where it was more painful bassy feedback thump than rawk.

i think i've only seen one band with really good sound in the main academy at newcastle - mastodon who absolutely slayed on sunday.

No they didn't, and they're absolute cunts for it! They didn't play Headup either, which I love.

The Lemonheads are touring...

May 8 - Liquid Rooms, Edinburgh
May 10 - Leadmill, Sheffield
May 14 - KOKO, London
May 15 - Carling Academy 2 Birmingham.

For London, Ticketweb was about £3 cheaper than everywhere else for tickets

If they play Even The Sand Is Made Of Seashells[1], I would appreciate a link to the footage.

But they probably won't.

[1] Possibly the most emo title for a song ever..

One of my favourite bands ever, and heroes of my youth - Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine are getting back together for one show only in November. I could cry I am so excited. I must have seen them 30 times. So many lies told to my parents about where I was going and with who...
