Would have loved to see Marwood! Unfortunately I have exams right now.

Going to try and see the Tallest Man in the World in July. Other than that, looking forward to Strummer of Love.

Jim Lockey with Brother and Bones on Friday we're great, looking forward to seeing them again at 2000 Trees.

Last night, with Beans on Toast and Crowns were a huge, huge amount of fun. Crowns played as a backing band for Beans on Toast for a few songs and it was pretty cool. Crowns' set was ace as well. I can't advise you check them out enough...

Would have loved to see that! Big fan of Crowns ever since I saw them supporting The King Blues last year, their EP is fantasic as well, can't wait for their full length début which they've just finished I believe. When I heard they were (sort of) touring with Beans I desperately wanted to go, especially since it was free. Damn these exams!

I have put a video of one of them on YouTube. Can't link it as I'm on my phone atm, but if you search my username on YouTube you'll find it's distorted goodness...

EDIT: Here we go...

Seeing The Gaslight Anthem July 19th at an incredibly small venue in Chapel Hill, NC. with Dave Hause. Should be an amazing night!

Saw Sarah Jarosz in a social club in Chorley on Sunday. Outstanding. If you don't know who she is and you're a fan of traditional American folk, check her out now.

I saw Bruce in the San Siro in Milan yesterday.
He played for 3 hours and 40 minutes. According to the people at Backstreets it was his second longest show ever.
The songs from the new album are amazing live. The extended E Street Band is something else. The crowd was wonderful. I am lost for words. 33 songs, including 10 encores. Will anything ever surpass it? Perhaps I should stop going to gigs now.

Saw Jon Snodgrass and Cory Branan on thursday in the Tiger Lounge, and they were epic!
Left for a late dash to See Maximo park, But what i saw was brilliant, top notch. Never a bad gig in the Tiger Lounge.

Saw Bruce twice more, in Florence and Trieste. Florence was the wettest gig ever - and it was wonderful. What a party! This short clip illustrates what we were dealing with.....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8tBiEtK ... re=related

The 'shortest' of the three gigs was 3 hours and 20 minutes. I just did some counting (I love lists...) and over the three Bruce gigs in Italy I saw him play 92 songs in total. Some songs were played each night, but still I got to hear 48 different ones. Much as I love going to see Frank, he doesn't vary it as much...
(I'll shut up about Bruce now).

The next few gigs for me are all outdoors. I've got Emily Barker and The Red Clay Halo twice next Thursday, followed by Elbow at Jodrell Bank and then Frank at the Eden Project.
