Rags and Myself attended what seems to be the last Capdown gig, from the way they were talking, possibly ever, but you can never say never.

It was INCREDIBLE. I've got bruises appearing all over the place, i seem to have re-fracturered my foot (really hoping it's just very bad bruising over the old injury) and Rags took a rather impressive left hook to the jaw, but neither of us broke a skanking stride.

Last night was a rather interesting night. Scroobius Pip was fantastic. He had a drummer and a guitarist with him which really beefed up the live sound. I missed his support, B.Dolan but he came on for two songs, one of Scroobius' and one of his own. Scroobius was pretty funny between songs, with his stories about songs and pointing out people in the crowd. It was possibly the best ending to a gig I've ever seen when he put on M.O.P. - Ante Up and after a bit of organising, he crowdsurfed to the sound desk at the back, high fived the sound guy before crowd surfing over to the side of the room where he could run straight upstairs to the merch stall and start selling his merch.

As for Arse Full of Chips afterwards, the frontman was dressed as a hotdog, there was a guy on the front row who spent the whole of the set with his cock and balls hanging out. Finally, their dancer was dressed as a whoopie cushion before he completely stripped off and proceeded to do forward rolls around the room.

I was waiting for someone to comment on that. Oxygen Thief needs to raise his game and start wearing a massive rope around his neck.

Surely a noose could be considered a literal Oxygen Thief?
