I saw them on their acoustic tour a few months back and it was pretty good, so I believe I may be going again.

I saw them support [spunge] in... 2003? At the Astoria and met Chris by the merch stand, he signed my ticket "Chris Loves Ben", for some reason (and somehow) he wrote it backwards.

NOFX in Toronto Friday night.

They played Glory Hallelujah, sped it up, and changed the words to "Let's get the clap together".

Played the whole of Clarity, whole of Bleed American then an encore.
It was very, very, very good indeed.
I have no functioning voice at work today because of this gig. It was brilliant.
My voice is pretty damn husky today that's for sure.
It was amazing, i love Clarity so much, though (at least from where I was stood) the sound was really bad for the first couple of songs, I could only really hear drums and vocals!!

Very jealous of the two of you. No guarantees they'll be back in the UK after this stint, and I still haven't seen them live. Saddens me.

They're playing in July, dunno if that counts as 'this stint' :) I've seen them many many times but I agree that this could well be the last time. Sadly I'm sure we're all agreed that Conor Oberst solo is... shit. Maybe Mike 'the don' Mogis will come out with a decent band from the ashes...

I liked some of the Mystic Valley stuff!

Namely the songs that Jason Boesel sang on. He is swell.

Disagree - although I haven't heard a great deal of Bright Eyes material, I much prefer the two solo albums that I have (self titled and Mystic Valley Band, dunno if there are more?) I particularly like the self titled one.

I'm going to see Bowling for Soup at the Viccy Hall in Stoke in October.

My attention at the moment though is firmly placed on Foos at Milton Keynes tomorrow!!! :D
