If you have read Franks book you will have heard about when he played at The Bridge House in Copsale. He actually played twice in 2007 and 2008 and he mentions that I videoed the sets.

I've had a few days off this week and have FINALLY been able to transfer the 2008 show from my old camcorder and put it up on YouTube. It is a great set, recorded pretty much on the eve of Love, Ire and Song being released. It amazing to see how Frank has progressed as a performer in this time and humbling to remember those old sets in small rooms with Whisky on tap.

Enjoy ...

I forgot to say - I am sure that at the start of this when Frank is tuning up he plays an early version of the Poety of the Deed riff ...

I might be wrong but makes sense timewise for him to be playing around with it at that time.

Lets wait for Frank to confirm.

I used to have a video recording of when Frank first ever played 'try this at home' from the midwinter picnic gig that I believe you were also at in Brighton. But that got lost somewhere in the world of dead disc drives.
