Coworkers and I just recently had a discussion about that (prompted by football players income, maybe? I don't remember). We came up with an easy way to spend 1-2 million, but after that we were at a loss as well, because paying for instance 4000/night for a hotel felt wrong and wasteful. I guess we just weren't born for wealth :)

I always said if I were every to win the lottery (which I dont play but would be the only way I have millions) the minimum I would want to sustain my new lifestyle would be £10.2million - that was all worked out based on where I would have houses, boats and interest in the bank to keep the annual cash flow working.

I guess that would be more like £11m now a days ... never going to happen tho
