O it's payday! yes, it's payday :(
You got you paycheque from the man
There's not so a lot work going around England these days
Still there's plenty of issues from which songwriters can profit from and
So you're gonna take that cheque
And gonna squander it
On the wrong side of this town

Gonna walk down the road past the Post Office, the job centre
And all the public houses boarded up shutting down

Cause the ink your my skin
Where the needle went in
However many years ago
You say left you defined by pictures
That convey you're a wanker
Everywhere that you go

And you can't clean them off
Some 'av none that they're ashamed of
You think that people don't realise ya tools though
Some people get it though and
Some people don't care
Whoever cares to get tattoos

(Though I do)

O it's fading! yes it's fading..
True impellation that got a young man 'ad to sing
Yes the spirit's died quickly
From a contagious disease
Precipitated by vast egocentric gluttony
Though I've still got the first three LPs from when 'e was great
So crack open a can of worms now
And let's make a pledge
If we had the luck to live our lives
A second time through we'd try and put our profits to use
Not just scream at society let it scream back at you
And Kill Davey Moore in a loop

The ink in your skin
Where the needle went in
'owever many years ago
'As left you defined 'y pictures
Drawn 'y trending artists
Everywhere that you go

Some people 'av one and
Some 'av none that they're ashamed of
Others try and delude you
That people don't get it, yet
Most people don't care
Whoever cares to get tattoos

We've got playing cards for the lovers
And spades and 'earts for the gam'lers
Stupid skinny jeans for indies
Tape decks for the standard
We got skulls for the poor living
And you are now a cartoon
In a panoply of tattoos

Basically i don't know if Mr Turner's donations to charity and efforts to better society are restrained to his now limp-writsted music or are themselves just limp-writsted but anyone who uses their time to discuss things with the media to oppose illegal downloads rather than say, oppose inequality after making their name as a socially conscious singer/songwriter is a dick (I can only posit here).

Because Frank hasn't talked about the things you want him to talk about, you think he's a dick?

The last thing I would do with a dick is join his forum to post a lengthy, time consuming parody of said dick's songs. Might be best to just ignore the dick and enjoy your life and the positivity with which you have chosen to begin the new year.

Probably the book one where someone went ballistic about the price of the limited edition version and swore they were finished with Frank forever. Amazing. I love nothing more than the ill placed vitriol of muppets. It takes me back to the days when Frank's greatest crime was getting a band.

I also particularly liked the guy who asked Frank about how to save his broken relationship, after clearly not listening to Tape Deck Heart.

Poor structure and very loose in terms of meter and rhythm. Not sure what the typed out dropped h thing is meant to be. 3/10. Stick to the day job.

Also, that blatantly took ages - valuable time that could have been used feeling superior about your "social conscience".

I've conducted a comprehensive review of all of Frank's crimes to date, and clearly his greatest crime was changing his twitter from FTHC to (gasp!)...his name. What the hell, Frank?

Not surprising that he calls on Frank to "oppose inequality" while using the homophobic slur limp wristed not once but twice in his second post.

Of course we all know he's rubbing his tiny hands (or something else that's tiny) together as he reads our responses!!
