Against Me! Transgender Dysphoria Blues. I can't put it down. I may have ban it from my life for a while to end the obsessive listening.

Mongol Horde - Mongol Horde
Hondo Maclean - The Truth, The Fiction

That's all I've got. I've not listened to nearly enough new music this year to really judge, but from what I've listened to these are the only two that really stand out.

Pulled Apart By Horses - Blood
Death From Above 1979 - The Physical World
Spotlight Kid - Ten Thousand Hours
Foo Fighters - Sonic Highways
Kaiser Chiefs - Education, Education, Education and War

Against Me! - Transgender Dysphoria Blues
Manic Street Preachers - Futurology

Also Christian Fitness (Falco from fotl)'s album - although haven't listened enough to list it, it's likely very very good.
I like Billy the Kid's latest and Beans' of course.

Royal Blood. Not sure what else I've had new this year, oh Koo Koo Kanga Roo, obvs. Devil, by Lydia, saw them supporting The Maine. Haven't listened to Supermodel by Foster The People enough to rate it, ditto Walk The Moon's Talking Is Hard but then I've only had that one a week or so.

Looking forward to Muse' new offering, Young Kato's debut that I've got pre-ordered and Frank's next :-)

I'm gonna go ahead and mention Lost Domain by Tim Wheeler of ash fame. It's so good. Basically it chronicles his father's battle with Alzheimer's.

Apart from that the only other release I listen to with regularity is Transgender Dysphoria Blues bit I can take or leave some of the songs on it.

Not sure if Devour (Dave Hause) and Marrowbone Lane (Chewing on Tinfoil) came out this year or late last. Of this year then them two as well.
insist on the impossible.
