We might be doing stuff like that at some point if we can fit it in, not sure yet.

Missed out. I didn't think it would sell out that quick and I'd still be able to order it tonight. I was going to send something in but I'm not going to bother now.

Latham needs to send in his plastic bag at Wembely story, I'd pay for that alone.

But what would he put in his own memoirs?

I think if you have a good story you should send it in. Other people would enjoy it.

That story has morphed into several strange versions it's ridiculous.

I did overhear someone talk about carrier bags in an attempt to chat someone up earlier this year at a Dry The River show. That guy was probably doing what everyone believed I was doing (but wasn't).

Can I be the only one that is contrary to the popular opinion? I've loved Frank's music for years. I probably have the most diverse collection of anyone in the entire world, I am only missing two releases. However, $58 for a "fan edition" of your book? Fuck you. That's insane and just ripping off your best fans. I'm fucking done.

It's a sound general point but surely it's the same as the bonus editions of LP's, limited singles etc?

Don't like it? Don't buy it.

The cost was one of the reasons why I didn't buy it straight away and ended up missing out as I thought about whether I wanted to spend that much on a book with an extra section just before Christmas. It's not like I won't be able to read the book at all, I'll just have to get the cheaper, regular version. If the £35 version was the only version of the book available then I'd be really pissed off.

As noted by other people: if you don't want it, don't buy it. The book itself is much cheaper. As it goes, we sold all the special editions we are making in less than an hour, so clearly some people have a different view.

I bought the fan version because I didn't want to miss out, but I did think it was rather steep. Presumably the price was necessary to cover the costs of producing a limited edition?
