"I Got a Name" - Jim Croce. Theme similar to The Road as well as other lyrical themes present in FT's songs

"Regress No Way" - 7 Seconds. The message is a great one, way before its time, and I think it could be slowed down to great effect. Melodic hardcore

I was listening to the Best of the Jam over the weekend and thought Frank covering 'English Rose' would be utterly lovely ...

Greezy, just noticed your post from June. I'm in Columbia. You planning on seeing Frank at Merriweather with Jason Isbell in June?

Something from "The Frank and Walters"; a fine band that had a modicum of success at the start of their career (in about 1670) but despite making lovely music since then has largely been forgotten and ignored.

If I was a successful musician I would cover stuff from bands that deserved success without actually getting it.

Oh yeh and "Cleopatra in Brooklyn" (beautiful song) sounds similar to the stuff they write.

"Dying Day" by Brandi Carlile!

She's a folk singer from the US and when I re-discovered that song some time ago, I had to think of Frank somehow. It's a song about life on the road or more exact a love song from a touring musician to the person who stayed at home.

Here is a one of the clips of the song https://youtu.be/SXugdBBNqKg

YES!!!!! Brandi and Frank are my two favorite artists, this would make me very happy, haha.

Hard Way Home would be another good one.
