Daughter and I were talking that Broken Piano would be a great mash up with Twenty One Pilots Car Radio.

I would love to hear a slow-ish solo version of Springsteen's 'Bobby Jean'. Can really hear Frank doing a cracking version on acoustic guitar or even just piano.

I think he'd make great versions of Fairytale of New York or Black is the Colour in my opinion

Full band...

Def Leppard - Stand Up (Kick Love Into Motion)
Fleetwood Mac - Go Your Own Way

Solo Acoustic

Fleetwood Mac - Never going Back Again
Nina Simone - Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood

and if Tarrant still has that upright bass... obviously I want to hear FT and The Sleeping Souls do Fever - the Peggy Lee version ish

:-)

Anything by John Prine or anything by Muse. I really couldn't choose.

And Country Roads. In the style of Dwight and Andy from an episode of The Office. Frank on Guitar and Matt on the banjo. It would 100% become the most played song on my iPod.

Interesting Def Leppard suggestion there. Though I think I would rather hear what Frank would do with the Slang-era material though. "Gift Of Flesh" or "Blood Runs Cold" perhaps?

or Breathe a Sigh...

yeah - actually anything from Slang.

although I have a freind who would faint if he did Slang...
She's not on here (yet.. I think??) but she said "that would be Soooooooooo ...... *sigh* DIRTY" 8) :D

I think (hope?) she is reffering to that knowing grin with full dimple effect... it would be devistating :-)

Hysteria and Slang are my favorite albums of theirs, both of which were given to me as gifts and both of which I need on CD, my tapes are deteriorating :-(

Fyi, the Deluxe Edition CDs of Hysteria and Slang are great if you're going down the CD route. Especially Slang. Some really good demo versions that show the evolution of that album.

MMmmmmmm don't tempt me ;-)

Good to know though.

I'm trying to limit the cd's I buy at the moment till I've listened to everything in my current stack.

(totally ignoring the fact I just got Joe Ginsburgh's album and having been chatting to Franz Nicolay, also just bought The World Infoerno Friendship Society - Red Eye Soul :-) )

Wouldn't mind hearing the boys cover New Model Army's Vagabonds either, with Anna Jenkins on violin...

Mmmmm yep. I think they would do that well :-)

About 100 or so pages into "The Road..." it has occurred to me that "Eton Rifles" could be a great cover.

Tomorrow is a long time - Bob Dylan

The version at the end of the first season of Walking dead
Is just breathtakingly beautiful...
Dylan recorded a few versions of this song but that one stands out for me.
It would fit Frank's style perfectly.
