New Frank Turner podcast

Post by TheOneYouFeed » Tue Apr 22, 2014 7:37 pm

Hi Everyone...I run a podcast called The One You Feed and we just released a show featuring Frank. It's an interview with him and some music snippets. I'm excited about it as he s my favorite and such a good guest for the theme of the show.

http://oneyoufeed.net/frankturner

In This Interview we discuss

The One You Feed parable.
The feeling that there is never enough time.
The importance of friendship in feeding your good wolf.
His role as a CALM Ambassador.
Building a community around music.
What punk rock meant to him as a kid.
Staying connected to his values of openness and community as he gets more famous
Music as a refuge for those that don’t fit in.
Music that he turns to to feed his good wolf.
Writing the press release for John K Samson’s latest record.
The challenges of alcohol and drugs.
Getting older and the changes in identity that come with that.
His love of dogs and his amazing “dog policy” at shows
His forthcoming record.

Thank you for letting me share it here.

Eric

It's a good interview. Well worth a listen, if only for the good wolf / bad wolf parable, which I hadn't heard before and bears some thinking about. Thanks man!
So if ever a man should ask you for your business or your name, tell him to go and fuck himself and tell his friends to do the same.

Eric:

Thanks for sharing this. I love this interview with Frank. It is so refreshing to read/hear something by someone who knows the artist and his music, and clearly has an appreciation of it.

But more importantly, I love the premise of your podcast ( 2 wolf parable), and will definitely be listening to previous ones, and those to come.

On a personal level, I have teenagers too, and Frank's music/shows have provided a great experience to open dialogue in those road trips.

Take care, Darlene

Interesting premise for a podcast. I enjoyed it. Though I'd like to know who it is that's telling frank not to come on the forum!!

Oh shit what have I just said?"

I also wanted to point out that I thought the point about parenting around the 20 minute mark was spot on.

Just another thank you. Good stuff. I imagine Frank was glad not to be asked the same old questions he gets from a lot of interviewers.
