Barbara Allen - Billie Joe & Norah

As I'm sure many of you have heard Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day) has recorded a country covers album with Norah Jones, thought some people on here would be interested to know that they covered the traditional folk song 'Barbara Allen' which Frank has covered. Link - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yzy3-12VVzE I think the lyrics are a bit different, but I guess most old folk songs tend to vary with that sort of stuff.

Franks version is better, drives home the sadness of the song. BJ and NJ's guitar sound is too happy.
I'd rather be the one who loves than to be loved and never even know.

I asked Frank about the lyrics once, he said he had a pretty true version from the research he'd done.

Of course there's a bunch more verses.
