Crap, did not think about that at all... Sorry! Saw it and got a little overexcited. I've removed it - if blastman could too, we can try to limit the damage...

I see you have. Appreciate it. There is an announcement coming. This has been under wraps and is something I have been working on for months, so would rather the information came out in the way it was intended

Sorry, didn't see the remove request until now, hope the damage wasn't too bad!

It's not damage so much, but more a case of this has been in the pipeline for months and months and then two hours before the teaser announce someone posts about it. I get that this is a natural thing to do, but it's quite frustrating. Like getting someone a brilliant birthday present, and then someone else telling them what it is right before they open it.

So does that mean you DO have the Jonah Matragna split on brown/yellow and the First Three Years on red/black? Those are pretty hard to come by. Still a few expensive items on that list, though....

I had to edit the post and add some more.

No I don't have any of the Jonah Matrgna splits, I guess the brown/yellow one is limited to 100 copies? Phew. Not even sure if I will try to get it. Will be damn hard.
How many presses of The First Three Years do exist? I thought the splatter one and a black one. Is there a third one? A red/black one? God damn it.

I will try to get the albums first before I continue to throw away money for some 7 inches...Why did I start? Why!?

There was two versions that came out in America on Paper & Plastick, one of which was the splatter and the other was red and black. Both were about 500 each or something.
Then there is the Gunner version from Germany, which is black and has different art work (includes an insert). I think there is 500 of them.

I've basically given up trying to get the 7"s I missed. Life is too short. I have most of them, but refuse to pay stupid money for something I will almost certainly never even play.

If you want to drive yourself crazy for the things you will almost certainly never get hold of, all LPs and 7s that Xtra Mile have done had 5 test pressings done for each. I know some have made their way out there, but most will never see the light of day. I have a few, but not all of them. That said, I have a bunch of XMR test presses but not that many of Frank's.

This thread has given me an idea for a story ... 'In search of Franks 7 inches'

A group of Frank Turner fans, who met by frequenting his forum, go out in search of the hardest to find 7" vinyl's.
Along the way they uncover the dark underbelly of record collecting and run into a series of sinister characters.
Friendships are made, hearts are broken and morales are put to the test.

or something ..........
06 06.3 08.8
07 04.4 11.5 17.5 08.6 10.11

09 11.1 06.2 21.4 10.10 29.10

Great, because I've already got all the other records, apparently now I need to search out the test presses.
