Before today I probably would have. But that record cost me over £100 and apparently it's just gone for £35!!

I have the cassette. It wasn't produced as limited edition, but I presume not many people bought it and they're not making it any more, so it's limited now! (if that makes sense). What's this lathe cut look like then? Sounds cool.

Based on the picture for that old ebay listing, it appears it looks just like the clear version does.

Another question for people, off this topic, but belongs in the Frank Vinyl topic. Do people think lower numbers are better for the limited releases? For example, is my 5/100 Jonah Matranga split more desirable than my 88/100? To me, it's all the same, but based on the fact that a low numbered Reasons went for an insane price, it seems like the number may be the reason.

Are the Jonah splits numbered?

First and last 10 numbers always get me a bit more heated under the collar, but thats about all. I would not pay more because it is 17/500 as opposed to 257/500. Because, it is just a number after all and does not mean that because you have number 1 that your record was first off the press. In fact, I wouldn't pay more for any particular number, but I am sure some people would. you have to draw the line somewhere

Sorry to get your hopes up, I don't actually have 5 though. I was using that to illustrate my point. I do have 88, but I also have somewhere around 34. I felt picking a random low number made my point better.

I couldn't care less about the numbers, but I do understand it to a degree. I mean, I'm pretty sure I own every one of the promos and every different version of each CD, so I get the mentality.

What number is that? I don't have that on my list.

I've got "Because internet piracy is theft" which is pretty perfect for me with all the shit I've downloaded through the years. That's even how I got into Frank at first, by my friend suggesting I download Love Ire & Song.

I haven't got my hands on a new record in too long. Getting annoyed with not finding the last few!!
