Ten years of A Song to Ruin

Post by smige2 » Mon Sep 09, 2013 2:46 pm

A lot is going on in Frank's world these days, but it's worth pausing to reflect that this month marks ten years since the release of Million Dead's debut, A Song to Ruin. A decade on, it still stands up as a classic in its genre.

Frank is almost exactly ten years older than me, meaning he would have been my age when the album was released. I feel like an underachiever for not having yet released a seminal post-hardcore album...

On the flip side, you're not rooming with Evan at this point in your life, so you've lucked out there.

In which case, there's still a good couple of years for smige no move in with you... Not sure what Dani would think of this, mind.

Unless he is going to be our live in housekeeper who stays under the stairs and never makes eye contact or speaks for £10 per week, then it's not going to happen.

That sounds like an ideal life, I could handle that. I have been thinking of a way to relocate. I'll take the job.

I'll take you. You can even have a room at that price. Still no eye contact though.

That's so generous of you Pete. Be cautious with that much kindness, you'll ruin your reputation as a major hardass.;)

Yeah, I am, like a lion or a tiger. Or a Puma. Puma Pete.

With Evan bearing an uncanny resemblance to a giraffe and me a puma, we should probably seek work to capitalise.
