This is pretty much the same for me. Whilst some songs I really love, others don't really grab me. I have been to a couple of their gigs but I don't like them enough to make much effort to see them. They do have good supports though.

I had a feeling you might say that. ;)
Whats that supposed to mean?
You and Pete appear to have discerning tastes. I have friends who also think they are massively overrated, and tadaaa.

I may know very little (compared to you experts) as I'm only 18 months into my musical odyssey & I've been seeing a lot of new to me bands. Yes I'd go to Gaslight again & yank them out of the EIS bin. But that's my taste :P

Is that the name of your favourite Gaslight Anthem song? The one that you play on an hourly basis because you love it that much?

Just some stuff on how I think Brian Fallon is an idiot douchebag and it bothers me that the other guy wears hoodies on stage.

Haha, if hoodies are bothering you I'd be genuinely interested to hear why you think Fallon's a "douchebag"

Hoodies don't bother me- wearing them on stage while performing does.

My opinion - Awesome band, great live band and great albums all of them - Handwritten has helped get me through the last year (personal shit)!!

Brian has been getting a lot of stick lately. I saw him on The Revival Tour at Southsea in 2011 and he came outside before the gig and spoke to people in the queue, shook hands and had photos taken etc - seemed like a genuine nice bloke.

The Horrible Crowes are worth checking out too, the project Brian did with Ian Perkins.

I love them. I got into Sink or Swim which just blew me away at the time. I saw them play their first ever UK shows which was fun, including an in-store at Rough Trade East with a handful of other people. The only album I'm not really keen on is American Slang, Handwritten was a real return to form for me.

Really like this band! They often offer great live shows.

I remember the second time I saw them, the support was an artist named Frank Turner. :)

Fallon has a great voice (in studio though, he is often out of tune live). Also, their side project "The Horrible Crowes" is definitely worth listening.

i agree, his voice sometimes seems a bit out of tune live but it never really makes the show less enjoyable.
