Well I've currently got 2 homes. Proper home is this village in Derbyshire, photo taken from a hill nearby which is a favourite place of mine...

Image

Other home is Lincoln, my uni city. The Quay is probably my favourite part, most cos my flat is right near it and I find it has a certain beauty at night

Neither of these pictures are mine by the way

Good, then that's settled! You should come for FEST http://www.thefestfl.com/fest12/ Following that, begins the Frank Turner stalking tour, as my kids refer to it. (Rebekka, my daughter, and maybe Cathy are coming along) which includes 4 shows in 5 days. Hmmm? Florida in November is nice....

Seriously though, when here, give me a shout. If for no other reason than to freak out the kids. (Had a "stranger" here last year for FEST and I think they slept with knives under their pillows).

Sorry the job is frustrating. They say adversity builds character, but I think sometimes I agree with FT, "Things didn't kill me but I don't feel stronger..."

Luebeck the capital of Marzipan and Christmas markets. I live near the the river not far away from several beaches. It's okay but actually I'm from Hamburg and next week I'll go home to see The Sleeping Souls. :D
And I'll go early to meet my friends, buy lots of old books and have the best food at 'ti breizh'Image

Not my photo either but makes me want to go out and shoot soon. The city is Nashville, TN, by the way.

When we there in June to see Frank, this mural painted on a wall was the view from our hotel room. I thought it was very cool. :)

Thanks, Bella as always, you dug up a perfect song. I had not heard that version before.

And your photos are beautiful. There were some of yours on the "holiday" thread that were gorgeous. Thanks for sharing. Everyone's photos have given me the itch to travel more.

Everybody has seen pictures of the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge, so I won't bore you with those.

A bookstore near my house:

Some street art by Birdhat that Marowak might like.

Thankyou!

Glad you like the song - I can reccomend getting that album - its called Career Moves. I would give my eye teeth to hear Frank cover the song Career Moves, I can almost hear what it would sound like... I think it would really suit him and the lyrics are really appropriate - not that I don't like the LW original, I love it... just... you know when you can just about hear it in your head??????

Mmmmm enjoying seeing other peoples photos - wish I traveled more...

now I have flikr I intend to put a few more up - went to Venice (italy) a few years back, just for the weekend, and took hundreds of pics - amazing place. Really want to go back! Wish I had, had a digital camera when I went to Iceland (if i can find the negs though I'm sure they can be scanned.... hmmm ) - truly amazing place!
