@seamiedev - Indeed

...and I was rummaging around in the attic, and I found the original copy of the Bible... which was nice.

This. Oneupmanship of various kinds is generally not becoming.

wow that is a tad harsh

you've all helped create a place where people feel able to join in and share and now you are upset because they are
I have seen that there is a lot of fairly personal stuff flying around which sometimes isn't overly fun to read but people will get over that naturally with different threads, topics and discussions. Especially if everyone spent their energy creating them instead of whinging about the stuff they don't want to read about.
If you don't want that stuff here delete the everything is shit thread because that is where most of the sharing has happened with everyone complaining about what is going wrong in their lives.

That was a tad harsh, sorry. The other thread was different to EIS though as it seemed to be a catalogue of all the awful things that have happened to people. Which are all awful, I'm not questioning that, but they didn't all seem wholly relevant to the discussion, t'is all. But yes, harsh, I'm sorry.

Oh and I love that it's busy and that people can come here for support. Hell, I have enough! But the GH thread didn't feel like that for whatever reason. But I love that it's busy and the more the merrier etc etc! X

The Glory thread is a bit of a one off as it covered 3 very different and heavy topics, religion, sexism and suicide, with that in mind it was never going to be a light read.
Is that one thread the main concern?
Threads always draw to natural conclusions as the discussion dies out. Can also be helped by creating other threads to post in which are lighthearted and fun.

Would just like to say that the GH thread was only ever intended for me to discover whether I was hearing things or Frank really had changed the words...

Have some cute kittens.

I'm no good at thinking of something funny enough for these things.

Aww. your baby is so cute. A Jack Russell? Rat? I'm a dog person too. So this happened to mine while he and my German Shepherd were "playing."

A rat? Shes a staffy cross but we don't know what the cross is. Its further back in her parentage then parents or grandparents. She did look a lot like a jack russell when she was little though.
Love german shepherds beautiful dogs we had two
