Losing Days EP

Post by Unorthadox1080 » Mon Aug 19, 2013 5:03 pm

Made this thread to release my excitement for the EP, can't wait to hear longing for the day, the original demo is still my favourite song by Frank. Just as excited for this as I was for Tape Deck Heart. Okay maybe that was a slight exaggeration but still. Anyway thanks Frank since I never just up about it e.g viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6098&p=164775&hilit ... ay#p164775

I love this song too! So anxious for it.

However, the name of this song (Hits & Mrs.) seems to be a quirky coincidence:

Haha
shows? 90 so far...

I can't believe what a massive hypocrite frank is being. See what he wrote under questions 6 and 7 on the FAQ on this very site 7 years ago:

http://web.archive.org/web/200708092235 ... m/faq.html

I know that disputes begin, wars are fought, armistices are brokered, peace deals are struck and new governments are installed in 7 years.

I appreciate that relationships blossom, marriages happen, times change, love fades and divorces occur in shorter timespans.

I understand that people excel,mid-life crises happen, career aspirations change and people disappear off to the country to have a go at farming in less time.

But: how DARE frank slightly change his opinion from something he wrote seven years ago. I, and all the other people who believe exactly what they believed about anything from the day they first became aware of it, regardless of any knowledge and understanding acquired in the intervening period, will not stand for it. Outraged. I'm almost at the point of writing a strongly-worded letter to some sort of newspaper.

Yes, indeed! How very dare he!
But still, I am intrigued!
And holy sheet, at his age I would be amazed if he can recall what he had for breakfast, let alone an opinion held 7 years ago.

That FAQ is classic.

I'm not boycotting, but my FT list in iTunes is still named "Beardy Fucker" (thanks Evan) and now I'm leaving it that way, cause Frank is a bit fickle. Courage of his convictions, my ass.

Can't wait for this, my life is a bit short sunshine at the moment, so this will let some in.

I'm pumped for this ... Longing For The Day is one of my favorites, I love the choice of a Biffy cover, and a new song is always cause for excitement. Can't wait!

Pretty sure Hits and Mrs is the song he wrote supporting domestic violence.
