Surprised nobody's mentioned it yet. Was it an album show?

It was great, especially the rarely played songs like Jet Lag.

Before anyone thinks we've been mean about sharing the excitement ........phone connection on the site was limited if anyone could find a signal that is. & it was just as difficult where I was staying at a friend's house. Expect much more to be revealed once everyone gets home. I had such a good time. :)

As above. There was no phone signal for me all weekend.

The Thur set was not LIS in order - the songs were mixed up to make it more of a live set. Which worked really well.

It was really good to hear Better Half and Jet Lag (rather than Jet slag as I originally wrote haha) live.

It was an amazing show, far better than the Friday headline set which was plagued with sound issues, the biggest of which was 40 minutes without Frank's microphone being turned on

Better Half was my personal favourite of the solo set

We were stood infront of the viewing platform/sound desk for the main stage set and after Four Simple Words, the sound was fine. For some bands, it seemed to be dodgy down the front but better further back.

Well yeah I was stood at the barrier, and his voice was just impossible to hear unfortunately. Glad it was on for 'Song For Eva Mae' though, that was beautiful

I'm pretty sure his microphone worked the whole time, and, being a sound engineer, they would not have left him without a working mic for 1 minute, let alone 40. If you couldn't hear him down the front it's because you're not in the dispersion area of the speakers each side. Imagine that the speaker stacks/line array at each size disperses sound 90 degrees horizontally each, if you're at the front almost in line with the speakers then you're not going to hear that much of what the speakers are putting out. You're much more likely to hear the onstage sound (guitar amps, bass, drums etc). What they needed was front fills, I noticed on the second day they had re-angled the stage fills at each side of the stage to be front fills, so maybe that was a result of whatever during Frank's set.

I heard from someone at the festival that he got angry afterwards and threw down his guitar after his main set. The Thurs set was far superior and a truly special thing to witness.
Lets not settle for satisfaction, we are women and men of action.

Yeah I was right at the front, I think he was also angry he had to cut some of the setlist... he dropped the guitar and stormed of fat the end, was a shame
