Is there a link between this and Grand Budapest Hotel?

There's a line something like, "A sad finale played off-key on a broken down piano".

Is this a literary reference that's gone over my head?

The song was written a couple of years before the film came out.
Shows? All of em.

"He's like an Uncle, I like him but I don't want to listen to him all day."

Broken Piano (and, in fact most of TDH) really grew on me. First few times I heard it I just didn't get it. When we did the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, it came on my iPod as I was just getting to the top of Whernside and in that setting, with an amazing view, it sounded incredible. That, and hearing it live, has cemented it as one of my favourites from TDH.

Pretty sure this is Nigel on a wind up. No one doesn't like those drums.
