Tape Deck Heart

Post by justdip » Wed Jan 16, 2013 10:01 am

New album out on April 22nd, which is earlier than i expected. Deluxe comes with 6 extra tracks. Live dates and the such.

Exciting times.

My only niggle so far, is that the album isn't getting a cassette release

Well this is all very exciting isn't it. I think the tour will sell out straight away.

the biggest observation I have made is that '4 simple words' opens the B-side of the album :)

I know Frank was always certain it would be the album opener and I am glad its changed....cannot wait to hear the record

Ooh that's exciting. Does seem a long time away though...have pre-ordered none the less :P It might sound daft, but I hope it's not too 'sad' an album. Obviously songs are influenced by whatever the hell
is going on in the head of whoever wrote them, but the reason I like his music so much, is that it seems genuinely positive and makes crap days slightly less crap! Oh, who am I kidding, it could be sadder than Radiohead and I'd still like it. :)

Pre-ordered! Looking forward to hearing it now. Anyone else have issues ordering from the website? It refused my card several times before I used paypal, havn't had an official confirmation either which is odd.

Yeah, no confirmation either. I'm sure it's not, but it looked like a fake PayPal website. :S

the paypal part is fine, I've had confirmation from that side of things. Glad I'm not the only one without a confirmation from the Sandbag Store then.

Just read Frank's tweet about the vinyl coming with a download code for all 18 songs, bit annoyed as I'd ordered both as I generally buy vinyl but wanted the bonus tracks!

Got no Paypal confirmation though, which was what worried me. Hmm.

Shame We Shall Not Overcome is a Deluxe feature! The deluxe CD really has some fight in it, great songs there!

P.S. - the album title makes me think of the Lemonheads.
