Well, this is harder than it first appears. too many great songs, only 10 spaces. Can i just say that if covers were allowed into this then Thunder Road would be right up there.
Anyway, for what its worth here goes.

1. The Real Damage
2. I still believe
3. Glory Hallelujah
4. Reasons Not To Be An Idiot
5. Photosynthesise
6. Thatcher Fucked The Kids
7. Long Live The Queen
8. Try This At Home
9. If Ever I Stray
10. Substitute

As others have said though, it may change a bit another day depending on my mood, but today this is my top 10.

Okay i did this two months ago,
But can i go again? I think after doing the first three nights of frank, and finally getting my vinyls back up and running i am ready to do a second (but still counting go!)

From Fave to 10th fave

1. Nashville Tennessee - was recently caught walking through Nottingham signing this loudly - Oops
2. St. Christopher is Coming Home - Nagged away, and Frank finally played it for me in Liverpool on tuesday, amazing tune.
3. This Town Ain't Big Enough - Just great.
4. Pass It Along - Love It.
5. Photosynthesis - Its just my long lasting memory of Frank, that and Ballad of. Amazing live.
6. Love, Ire & Song - Iconic for me.
7. Poetry Of The Deed - Reminded oh so kindly of how much i love this song on Tuesday!
8. Imperfect Tense - I love the quick words, brilliant.
9. The Real Damage - its awesome - plus, i do love to shout 'True Story' at every show i go to after after cigarettes and shame verse
10. Romantic Fatigue - cracker.

But yes, i think i'd struggle to put a top 25 together, that was a nightmare, it looks like i dont like the new stuff, which isn't true, but yes, take me back 4 years, and i'd get that!

Amy worked in a bar in Exeter, Springsteen came clear in my headphones - Frank, did you write these lyrics for me?

I want to thank you for doing this. I really know how much effort you put in to it, and especially with the Springsteen poll going on also.

The results were interesting. I would agree that the top ten were some of the best lyrically speaking. But I loved people's insights. Made me re-visit some of Frank's songs (like I need to spend more time doing that!)

So interesting to hear you say that. I actually never cared for it much myself, but after seeing its favor amongst folks here, whose taste I usually agree with, I really gave it a proper listen. It is actually quite amazing and so full of depth, that I had missed its brilliance.

Been trying to figure out whether there are any songs that didn't get any votes - Sunshine State is the only one I can identify, anyone know of any others? I'm pretty sure every song from every album is there and all the original songs on 1st and 2nd three years apart from that one.

Great to see that list of songs, even though mine isn't too similar! Gonna be hard to compile this but here we go...

...after so much thought, here's mine in no particular order.

1. Glory Hallelujah
2. I Am Disappeared
3. Worse Things Happen At Sea
4. Photosynthesis
5. Redemption
6. I Still Believe
7. Sunshine State (personal reasons!)
8. Journey of the Magi
9. Four Simple Words
10. The Road

This may change by tomorrow morning, that's usually how it happens.

Mmmm glad to see this question pop up. It's very tough but here goes....

10. Try This At Home- The true punk message- Anyone can do it. This is a great song, because it truly shows how much Frank cares about what he does, and the people he does it for.

9. Substitute- A depressing look into the life of a musician. This song I think will help people understand Frank's music on a more emotional level.

8. If Ever I Stray- A really happy song, that gives you the feeling of washing away your sins, which feels great. It's also a great one he does live.

7. Father's Day- I only recently found out exactly what this song was about, which made me respect it alot more. A really deep, hard cutting song. Most definitely one of his best.

6. Long Live The Queen- A heart-breaking yet joyful tribute to a friend, that says even in death, friendship doesn't end. Really a celebration of life.

5. Redemption- Frank said this was one of his toughest to write, and I can imagine. Frank really comes to terms with his mistakes and his failings and it's a very well-written, very emotional song.

4. I Still Believe- Basically an anthem that says "This culture doesn't suck as much as we make it seem", and a challenge to find the good in anything. At least that's what i think of it.

3. The Road- A really great Frank song. Not really relatable to most people, but it's a great tune and got a nice foot-thumping punk-folk groove

2. Love, Ire & Song- Another really incredible song by Frank, this one is the ultimate battle cry to anyone sick of bullshit. I love love love this song.

1. Photosynthesis- The true punk statement, "I won't sit down, I won't shut up, but most of all I will NOT GROW UP". Frank sings this one with a lot of soul and you can tell he really believes it.
