Can we expect a move towards more million-dead-esque lyrics?

Frank's newer material strikes me as very different in style and subject matter to what was on his first two solo albums.
Because the content of his first two albums (which I actually prefer to the Million Dead albums) seemed so deeply personal it sort of makes sense to me that they inevitably lost some of the certain eloquence that the Million Dead stuff had, but as his music changes, I feel like it's moving in a direction that would be able to accommodate a bit more of that again.
So yes I wondered what people thought.

I was thinking about this yesterday actually with regards to the "heresy" thread. A lot of his earlier solo stuff is very straight forward "telling a story" type stuff, but still mostly pretty well written obviously. Now there's quite a few songs where everything does seem to be getting a bit more abstract, and it does seem more similar to Million Dead type stuff.

I'm not sure if it's down to his songs being more suited to that style, or a growing confidence in his lyrics where they're so much more at the forefront or whatever. Either way I like it.
