I don't think there's one of these, so here be one!
Discuss the great game of football (not the American type) and talk at great length about why your team is the best there ever was (or not as the case may be).
I'm a Cardiff fan and apart from the last few games or so, I'd say things are looking pretty rosy for us, bring on February 26th! But of course first of all we have a gigantic game against the mighty Peterborough tomorrow to get through and then another match against a team who's name I have neglected to remember.

There used to be a football thread, but it seems to have been lost in the shuffle :(

Anyway, I'm a Liverpool fan so I too say bring on Feb 26th! Despite being huge favourites, games like this still make me really nervous. A lot of people go on about how the League Cup is 'meaningless' etc, but it's one of only 3/4 trophies that any team can win at the start of the season and if we can win it, I'll be happy with that! We've also got Brighton in the FA Cup on Sunday.

I'm not nervous cos there's no pressure on us to do anything, it'll just be a nice day out.
Do you go to many games?

I'm a Blackburn fan from the US. I really don't like the way they have been going since the new owners, I think this may be the last year in the Premier League for a long time.

I don't think there's any way in the US for me to legally view the Carling Cup. However, I will be rooting for Cardiff. I don't really have anything against Liverpool, but I'd like to see a lower division team win it.

Well Liverpool certainly enjoyed some happy hunting today, hopefully in the final we'll be slightly better than we have been recently i.e. not shit
