Wow I've not really been keeping up with music. I can hardly name 5 albums I've got this year, which makes this sort of thing pointless, but still:

FT - EKMB
M83 - Hurry Up We're Dreaming
Ben Marwood - Outside There's a Curse

Naming any more would just be including albums i've not really listened to much or don't even like.

In no particular order:

FT - EKMB
Metronomy - English Rivera
Black Keys - El Camino (despite the fact Ive only had it 3 days, it is fucking awesome)
Joy Formidable - Big Roar

Final slot could be between any of, Bon Iver, Elbow, Rival Schools, Laura Marling, TV on the Radio, Beans on Toast, White Denim, Foo Fighters, the Horrors and Bombay Bicycle Club which I know is a cop out but I liked all of them and it depends what mood I am in.

I would probably go for:

Ben Marwood - Outside there's a Curse
Laura Marling - A Creature I Don't Know
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds
Foo Fighters - Wasting Light
Some bloke with a beard - England something or other

Maybe not the most imaginative list, I should listen to more new music...

Excluding EKMB

Ben Marwood - OTAC
Crazy Arm - Union City Breath
Bright Eyes - People's Key

Can't think of many other new ones this year to be honest... mostly been about Elliott Smith and other things I keep discovering/rediscovering
