I'd say that "On the day I die, I'll say at least I fucking tried" is a pretty strong contender.

Also "I'm not as awesome as this song makes out. I'm angry, underweight and sketching out" is pretty boss too.

Now that I think of it "she's not as pretty as she thinks she is, just picture her after she's had kids" also ranks quite highly

Each can be redeemed by the courage with which he confesses

So if ever a man should ask you for your business or your name, tell him to go and fuck himself, tell his friends to do the same. Cause a man who'd trade his liberty for a safe and dreamless sleep doesn't deserve the both of them and neither shall he keep (long one, mind)

Not blaming all our failings on imaginary beasts

I'm exactly the kind of guy I said I'd rather be dead than be in the days before I got laid

You dance as if you're hours away from death, you're wearing too much make-up and showing too much flesh

This country is my canvas, I leave paint trails as I go

Ah, forgot about that song.

"I'm building bonfires on my vanities and doubts to get warm" is another line I love...

I could probably list hundreds, but for now i'm gonna go with
'We're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell...'

Not a massively original choice I appreciate, its something I'd quite like to get tattoo'd but haven't worked out where yet

If I could just relax, then I could admit that I don’t know what I want, but this is not it.

You're on my phone again, well, what do you want me to say, when I'm this far away? And you don't know where I am, well, you're not the only one. I am lost and I'm gone away.

And that's how I miss out on another night, the kind of night where nothing really happens, but everything goes down.

Whatever else may be, I will not forget my friends

So hold your goddamn tongue, you forget yourself. How could I be the one If you're wrapped round someone else?

Lying awake in crowded hotel rooms focussed on tape hiss; with my feelings laid clear on ceiling I don't think I can do this.

Ooh, how could I forget "Let's grab life by the throat and then live it to pieces" and "On the day I die, I'll say at least I fucking tried!"

So amazing.

The path I chose isn't straight and narrow
It wanders around like a drunken fellow
Sometimes it's hard for me to follow
But if you've got my back I'll go on
If you've got my back I'll go on.

"Like a dream catcher distracting from the fact you’re gonna die" really caught me from the last album, but isn't quite there stand alone written I guess, you need the emphasis on "fact you're gonna die". Substitute is probably my favourite to sing along to, I love the alliteration in "low and lusty liar" and singing to "If music was the food of love, then i'd be a fat romatic slob", which could work?

For a tattoo, I can't think of anything better than "On the day I die, I'll say at least I fucking tried!"
If you're oh so fucking different, who cares what you have to say?

I think "Show me the meaning of being lonely" is the best lyrics of all time.

"Let's be crass enough to care"

If I were to lose that sentiment, I would lose my all.

Clever bot. Good effort, still needs work.

"Trying to speak straight, but I'm drunk and I'm lonely and you won't believe me"

Is a painfully true lyric. Not tattoo material though.

There are so many lyrics that touch me i could write all day. Sometimes his lyrics hurt and sometimes they make me smile, sometimes i cry and others i rejoice. Quite the range....
Autocorrect is out to get me.....

"As long as I've got me a place to sleep, some clothes on my back and some food to eat then I can't ask for anything more".

I am travelling around Armenia at the moment and I am in a small town called Goris. Away from the capital Yerevan it is clear that Armenia is a poor country and people don't have it easy. Yet they get on with it, don't complain and proudly totter on high heels through snow in the freezing cold.
I was commenting to my boyfriend that being here makes you realize how spoilt we are in 'the West' and how silly it is that we think we need so much 'stuff'. The lyric above came into my head then.
