Smiling at Strangers on Trains cover

Post by withyouathome » Sun Aug 14, 2011 8:26 am

Hello everyone,
My name is Hayato and I recently recorded a cover of Smiling at Strangers on Trains - I know most of you would probably think I've completely destroyed it but it was more for the act of covering the song that was important for me since this song has been one of my favourite songs of all time!

If you could give few minutes of your life listening to it I'd much appreciate it :)

I have Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/withyouathome where you can download this and more tunes free - Please visit if you like!

Thank you!

I actually really liked this. Unusual take, good though.

Interesting cover.

I really like the stripped back guitar.

I love what you've done with the music, although the vocal style isn't to my taste.

the guitar is lovely - the vocals dont quite work for me. but i can def see where you are coming from on it ...

i'd love to hear a soft female vocal over the guitar you played - that would sound warm and nice ..

This. Someone like Hannah Peel or Lisa Hannigan.

I really like this cover. It's hard to sing well, that high. Almost sounds automated. Unusual voice, but It captures my ears.
