I reckon a lot of people, after hearing Frank talk about, be supported by or cover songs by other artists, then decide to investigate those artists and maybe become fans.

So, who are you now a fan of through some association with Frank? So far my list goes:
Emmy the Great
Reuben
Beans On Toast
Joshua English
Chuck Ragan
Million Dead
Chris TT
and as of today, Loudon Wainwright.

I would say the main two from seeing them being discussed by Frank and others on here are:

Propaghandi
Billy Bragg

Ben Marwood, Beans On Toast and Fake Problems are all now in my favourites list and had not heard of them apart from thier Frank association

I've listened to Real Ghosts Caught on Tape by Fake Problems so many times I'm surprised it hasn't burnt out! Really love that album

The above, plus
beans on toast
social d
weakerthans
hot water music
crazy arm
Chris TT
And Johnny cash's American recordings I hadn't ever bother to give a proper listen to until Frank talked about it, and now I rather enjoy listening to it/them

There's more but it escapes me.

EDIT: Plus Dive Dive & Ed Harcourt and most recently Jim Lockey...

Actually i start to wonder what i was listening to before Frank came along and turned my music collection upside down...?

I'd probably never have heard of these or paid attention if it wasn't for Frank:

Chris T-T, Ben Marwood, Chuck Ragan, Dive Dive, Dawn Chorus, not to mention the musicians I've seen that post on here.

Well Frank turned me on to 2000 trees, and the amount of bands I've gotten into from that is huge.

But the main ones are:

Ben Marwood
Crazy Arm
Bruce Springsteen
Beans on Toast
Million Dead
Refused
Jim Lockey
Chris TT

The Hold Steady. After lexapalooza in February, I blame him for my new addiction.

Out of curiosity, are there any bands etc that you've got into after they've been mentioned on here?

uh, not directly off reading a thread, that I can think of, but there are plenty of people on here whose music I enjoy a lot (Dave, Adam B etc.).
