My avatar does not lend itself well to this conversation does it :')

Oh & to be on topic I'm pretty much heavily anticipating Mass Effect 3 & hoping that it lives up to the previous games unlike other recent titles (Dragon Age 2 springs to mind).

Between two courses, a diploma & teaching I don't have as much time as I would like to geek out these day though 8)

WHAT.

Really... what?

Dragon Age II is second only to the Ace Attorney series for me.

I liked Dragon Age 2, but if we have to go through its faults I'll have to come back tomorrow when I have more time. : p

I have to agree with Greta. The game itself was good by the standard of games but nowhere near as good by the standard of Biowares previous efforts.

I will probably go back sometime to get some more achievements & such but the game just seemed to lack depth, character involvement & don't get me started on the same environments over & over.

If the third one comes out with an immersive world like Origins or Mass Effect with plenty of environments (& none of them reused) & an epic story (hopefully without completley spamming the hell out of the blood mage idea) then I'm sure it will be great.

Rant over.

I would have liked to have more places to explore, so yeah, I fully agree on that point. In general though, I feel that the actual storyline was very strong and the characters were really well rounded.

I am kind of in love with Fenris so I may be a little bi(o)ased.

My sincere apologies for that awful "joke"!

Haha, sorry for getting into it a bit too much. It really pisses me off how much I wanted to love that game :')

Not so much an epic quest as it is fucking about for six hours whilst noshing off your handsome friend.

My 1st Hawke was a gay, getting it on with the Apostate Mage.

I agree that the Character design and writing is one of the best things about Bioware, even if some of the models are overused and I wonder "Haven't I just killed this guy? and now he wants to offer me supplies?"

The best part of Dragon Age II is that Fenris has the same voice actor as Balthier from FFXII.

I'm very much looking forward to the day when I can afford to get an Xbox again.

The following is a list of games I need to play/finish playing

AC:Brotherhood
L.A Noir
Duke Nukem Forever
Brink
Crysis 2
Mortal Kombat
Alice: Madness Returns
Red Faction: Armageddon
Fear 3
And some others I can't remember.

For someone who works in a video game shop this is a pretty poor effort...

Anyone got brink? I was going to look into it but it seems WAY too similar to TF2 for me, considering I'm on of the few that don't like tf2...

I have it. I love it too. It's for people who are actually going to work in a coordinated team. They are coming out with a free update sometime this month. The only problem I have with it is that the CARB-9 is massively overpowered.
