Frank in Kerrang

Post by Gerry » Wed Sep 02, 2009 7:08 pm

I personally think it's about fucking time that Frank's got a proper two page Feature in Kerrang. I reckon he'll more then likely be getting the Spirit of Independance award at next year's kerrang awards (The only award that's actually worth having in my opinion)

Thoughts anyone?

My thoughts are that Kerrang is a shit mag.

METALLICA!! in big letters on the cover every week as if it's a big surprise. Fuck off Metallica.

True, I used to read it alot but now only get it once in a blue moon.

Saying that, it did introduce me to MD.

I detest it cause of the near constant visual rape of the eyes with features on shit bands like fall out twat and bullet for my vaginantine.

I voted no, just because it's such a stupid question to ask on the Frank Turner forum :)

Yeah I was sifting through in ASDA the other day. He was in 'letter of the week' because someone wrote in and said something about him being cool.

There is an article/interview with him from New York either this week or next.

It's out now!
It's a great feature actually - so please buy it and have a read.
The Letter Of The Week (in the same issue) is particularly good because it proves to the magazine that Frank IS relevant to their readers. The more people write in saying positive things about Frank in response to their coverage of him....the more they'll be up for doing.

Spirit Of Independence Award is a lovely idea

I reckon thats the only award that's worth having since it's not voted in by the "What's cool" emo brigade.

Shit, I missed the proper article when I was in ASDA, that's dissappointing. I got distracted by one of the store workers knocking over this massive stack of boxes, it was HILARIOUS I tell you.
