If anyone is interested - 'Why didn't Scots vote Tory?':

Just watched the above on BBC Parliament... the bits about the inherent anti-Thatcherism explained to me my 'down with Mrs Handbag' upbringing

Last night's Poli-Tele

Not impressed  - Mehdi Hasan on QT
I thought he was quite horrible (some awful cutting comments); and not impressed with today's article by him; about new government is 'great betrayal'... let them breathe, at least?

Impressed  - Billy Bragg on This Week

nothing else but... *swoon*

Agreed. Mehdi Hassan was being a total jeb.

No-one see my FTHC hoodie in one of the shots...!? It was a bit crumpled as I had my hand up at the time but still...repping the FT innit, or something along those lines.

In my defence, it was kind of a joke. But still.
Hiding from my missus and her sister in the toilet, drunkenly reading this thread back for the first time in a month or so. You weren't well and truly owned, I was just being a snotty petulant little prick and passing my opinion as fact - apologies

That's really quite a clever move. I don't expect Iran ever really plan on sending their navy with the ships, but it's certainly going to put some external pressure on the situation.
