Mark from a wee town called Knighton, Mid-Wales, a relative Frank newbie but catching on very quickly, quickest back catalogue i've ever purchased!! First gig was Cardiff in Feb, blown away by both Frank and the crowd

Fan since 2011, but only recently discovered the forum. Live in South London (and proud, thanks Frank!) Have discovered some great new music through FT and fellow fans, so hoping for some more new leads of London gigs, as well as pontificating the talent of Mr Turner and the Sleeping Souls

Originally from Botley, Hampshire. Fan since around 2011 following a trip to Nashville. Came back and searched Nashville Tennessee on i tunes for some less obvious songs to form the background music of a photograph montage I was making for the holiday snaps. Discovered this song - 20 second preview - had to down load and the rest is histor. Just can't get enough nowadays. Managed around 7 shows so far but now it's getting tougher to get tickets - Roll on Larner Tree :)

My name's Jenn and I live in the US. Mississippi to be exact.

Became a fan several years ago when my friend mentioned Frank in passing and I looked him up. I rarely have favorite musicians, more just songs I connect with, but now when anyone asks, I usually say Frank. Saw him live in New Orleans a couple of years ago, and again in Mobile, AL with Koo Koo Kanga Roo more recently.

Booked for the flogging molly cruise and very anxious to meet fans from so many different areas. Wish I'd known there was a forum sooner.

Hello all

My name's Ig, been lurking and reading the forum for a fair while and thought I really should join in. Been a fan of Frank since the support slot at Wembley with Green Day, and been to 4 or 5 gigs since then - most recent being Nottingham Arena. Always brilliant.

Erm, "hi" I guess!

Hey, I'm Amy and I live in Birmingham, AL. I "found" Frank in 2012 when watching the opening ceremonies of the London Olympics when I should have been working. I loved that he was singing about England. However, I didn't catch the band name until a couple of months later I was listening to BBC Scotland and they played one of the songs from the Olympics and they said it was Frank Turner. So I looked him up and lo and behold, he's coming to my town in October (or possibly September). I saw him in a small bar, solo set and it was terrific. Then I saw him the next year in Atlanta with KooKoo and TSSB. And I just got through seeing him in Knoxville, Atlanta (both sets), Columbia, and Charleston. I am now going through withdrawals and have had a support group meeting today which included vodka. I'm going on the cruise too and can't freakin' WAIT!!! Oh and I didn't think I would like the Horde. They make my eardrums bleed (and I like it...)

BTW, there sure are a lot of emoticons over here on my right screen. Very tempting.....

eyup, I'm Tracy, known around t'interwebs as trog, for tedious reasons. Big, big fan of Muse, which saw me spend a day on the barrier at Leeds Festival in 2011 and thus was my Frank cherry popped...

oh yeah, I use ellipses a lot...

I'm Nathan from Hampshire, England (Not far from Frank's hometown in fact!). I discovered Frank and the Sleeping Souls at a festival in July and now I'm pretty much addicted.

Sorry about the boring user name

I bought "Sleep is for the Week", "Love, Ire and Song" and "Campfire Punkrock" in (checks discogs spreadsheet) in 2008 and 09 and thought they were fantastic - frank's got a great voice, knew absolutely zilch about him though

A Pregnant work colleague/friend of mine told me she was a big fan of yours, and that your songs had got her through a traumatic 1st pregnancy and child's illness, she hugged me when I told I knew who he was....

Went to see her after child #2 was born, I visited her and she thrust a memory stick into my sweaty paw with "The Second Three Years" and "England Keep My Bones" reigniting my interest in frank's music

I promise to buy the originals, if frank allows me the eleventieth opportunity to call him a sellout

Hey there, my name is Allen and I'm from Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. I'm a filmmaker and new media producer.

On a whim I picked up Poetry of the Deed in late 2009 and have been a fan ever since. I've only been to one FT show but it was by far the best fucking show I've ever seen.
