I only use one rack tom. What's with the giant "Dream Theater" kit, Blair?

pffft.

still had a good time though, and post-gig banter was good so it was actually a pretty awesome night. and made some new friends too.

FAO Katy S: im playing aberdeen on the 17th, not sure where, some scream pub. see you there? awesome cool.
Yeah i'v heard about the floor in there before, it's like that for most gigs i think. Just imagine how good a grip the old lady church goers have, they could be world class climbers.

I think i might be through in aberdeen around that date because there is quite a few gigs on so i'll maybe try and get along to that one too.

Howdy Folksies...

Post by Dirty Hippy » Mon Dec 04, 2006 4:14 pm

Yo, howdy people!

My name's Morgan (I'm male), I'm 15, live in Leeds and have fallen madly and uncontrollably in love with Frank Turner... I originally heard him with at the Mr Turner/David Rovics/Tracey Curtis/Attila The Stockbroker 06/06/06 gig in Leeds, then tracked down a few songs a few months later and have been in love since...

Beyond Frank I'm a big fan of punk, folk music, country (like Steve Earle, not Dolly Parton) and Bruce Springsteen, though I dabble in a bit of everything. I myself play sorta dark creepy acoustic music (a la Nebraska/later Johnny Cash). Anyways, its nice to meet y'all! If anyone'll be at the Leeds gig in January, I should see ya there. :D.
