I saw a fly on a greggs sausage roll in the counter, the woman smiled, like that was normal

I ate a fly once. I thought it was a raisin. It tasted a bit gamey.

Anyhoo, here to confess. I just abandoned values I hold dear. I will claim it was mother's love made me do it. But I just purchased overpriced (doesn't begin to describe it) tickets for my daughter for One Direction. I have many rationalizations, but I am just plain pissed off at myself this morning.

Now you make me feel like a bad Mum for not purchasing overpriced 1D tix for my daughter. :-)

Not at all. I was weak. This is her dream band. We made a contract for her paying for the ticket. we'll see.
But did it have to be 1D?

First tattoo! Congrats! What are you getting/where are you getting it?
Wow I'm so lame just seeing this. Sorry, late response, but thanks for asking. I got the lyrics "be prepared to bleed" (from A Case of You, Joni Mitchell) next to a treble clef across the left side of my ribcage under my heart. I'd insert a pic if I knew how, but I'm a little tapatalk illiterate.

Can we talk about sandwiches, please? Nobody ever wants to talk about sandwiches, and it hurts my heart. I feel like it's because I'm not bringing it up properly, and I'm just kind of forcing it. Rather than just...casually mentioning that sandwiches are the bee's knees, and accumulating soulmates that way.

...sandwiches...

OH right. And in this case, "sandwiches" is not a euphemism. But sometimes it is. I feel like that might be part of the problem.

I have exactly 55 minutes until I am unemployed. And then I am going to see Half Man Half Biscuit.

The tedium has set in.
