Which him? You do realise that there is no one called Bon Iver?

just been made redundant (found out through BBM, oh the lulz of modern technology) but instead of tearing my hair out at impending unemployment I am having a mini rave

Is it just me that thinks that multi-grain crackers are an amazing invention?

I thought it was actually considered just the one dude who played with a live band? Like Iron and Wine or City and Colour? This whole one person band thing confuses me.

I did the same thing pretty much when this happened to me last Jan. I was furious, terrified and hugely insulted. BUT I then realised I never had to set foot in the awful fuck-tard filled place ever again and I whooped. a lot.

well they have now said that its not a redundancy but a restructure with some redundancies and that I am part of it and might be redundant but might not be but my existing job no longer exists and some other stuff which I lost interest in
so yes I am technically redundant but I might have a job if I am successful in my application

Why oh WHY do Americans feel the inate need to scream during quiet bits of songs? I'd have some great recordings of new songs from people posting them on youtube if it wasn't for numptys shouting out "Yippie Kay Yay mother fucker* during a quiet part of Cowboy Chords. I don't think any other nationality does it quite as much and certainly not with as much gusto. I know it's not all Americans and I as a person love America more than most as a concept, but fuck people.

</end Rant>

This could be the wrong thread given I did have something to say haha.
I'd rather be the one who loves than to be loved and never even know.

I've got my 4th year vet exams next week, I'm no where near prepared enough.
2012 has been a bag of shit & as a result my head is totally fucked up to proportions even I've never known, so ultimately if I squeeze the 50% pass rate it'll be a small miracle.

this year is baffling me
in the process of being made redundant, the news of which came the same day a company I have never heard of calls me to invite me for an interview, of which I have been successful. Found a couple of volunteering opportunities I am also going to go ahead for and also had a text this morning informing me of work at Ally Pally through a company I have helped out during summer festivals. I have also had an email through regarding another project which is hoping to come off the ground this year.
I have never felt so popular!

Also went for my interview yesterday in a bid to keep my existing job, however just before I went to go in my bra broke! Probably one of the more interesting ways I have ever opened an interview. They also told me I should stop selling myself short.
So have gone from technically made redundant to having a ton of opportunities land in my lap.
Who knows I might even get around to building my website this year.

anyway just wanted to get that off my chest.

Even better one of my all time favourite bands have come back with some fantastic new material I have a returned faith in music.
Hoping this is a sign of good things to come

You're planning on making a website? Why have you not told me about this before?

Apparently they found a suspected crack making factory in the road where Million Dead HQ used to be. Frank, Julia, Ben and myself all lived there at some point. It was a very exciting road, with a controversial mosque at one end, the old Arsenal stadium at the other, and Million Dead in the middle. I am in no way surprised, nor do I expect anyone to care - it's nearing the end of the day and I am bored

Is this a measurable and tangible consequence of MD splitting up, then? An area once known to be influenced by MD goes into a gradual decline after MD ceases to be?

It still isn't like anyone lost a limb, though.

Except Abu Hamza...well, a semi-limb.
