The thing that really annoys me is that I'm putting all this effort into finding a job that I'll probably be quitting in about September cos I'll hopefully be on a masters course by then.
meh.
What you plan on studying if you dont mind me asking?

As for finding work and shit, I get the best of both worlds, full-time-half-arsed student in bonny England, and work at a mental hospital whenever I'm home. Good times. Saying that though, wages only ever seem to booze me up. :)

HA!

My area manager (cock), said to me something along the lines of "Morrisons are fucking shit, they're the WORST supermarket to work for and are going nowhere!"

I'm very tempted to e-mail him that link.

Like bloody buses, these jobs. I apply for everything under the sun for over two months with fuck-all result, now I've got 2 induction sessions and a second interview in three days. I don't know who's more deserving of my valuable services/which job I actually want.

Am I right in thinking you currently work for Somerfield? If so I remember my area manager being somewhat a cock, the management weren't much better either. I shake with fear whenever I hear anyone say the words "work" and "freezers" in the same sentence to this day.

Is this a serious question? If so - I'm speechless.

At least, unlike my housemate who is 25, they didn't say that they only just found out toilet roll is made from trees, when complaining that we're using too much of it.

have I mentioned I hate people? Some of the guys at work were all getting excited about how everyone seems to be eating pasta now like it's the new wonder food. I get the impression some of them have only just started eating it. I'm not joking.

I guess pasta is something a lot of people only truly discover at uni...

I've been too negative about people recently, to even things out... My positives / boasts for the day: Off for dinner and then to imax for Watchmen this eve, got next week off, my fluffy kitten and lounge feature in no less than 3 london style magazines this month and it's LIGHT WHEN I FINISH WORK! YAY!

No, I currently work for this company: http://www.stokesplc.com
I think I'm right in saying that they're the UK's largest independent Fruit and Veg retailer. They've been my only employer. I started there in May '99 at the age of 15.

just got back from getting my thesis printed and bound. it is due in midday tomorrow, and I am avoiding reading through it again as I bet I will find a typo / stupid mistake.

oh well. the cover and the binding look nice and smart, so it will definitely get a first, right?
