Lars wrote:I'm curious has anyone else ever gotten pointless bank charges from their bank? Last month I got a 0.01 charge for 'interest' on a statement I paid in full, and this month (after just checking my balance' I've got a 0.05 charge for 'interest' on another statement which was paid in full.

The bank claimed it was a system error last month, and I assume they will this month, it'll be interesting what they have to say to my message I just sent to them today, purely because they were supposed to have rectified the error.
I get them every month, it's probably down to me going into my overdraft and then repaying it. But then again it could be one of those scams like in "Office Space" where the 0.01-5's could add up to a small fortune.

well you see, it's on my credit card, and I've never even gone remotely close to the limit and always pay the thing off every month. Again, they responded to me today and said it was a system error and refunded me the fee (which I assume will show up within the next few days) and said they'd monitor my account to see if it happens next month. Apparently it's happening to some customers.
