I'd save your money, to be honest. Bands as big as that that do support slots on tours inevitably round off with a few headline dates of their own. Promoters just keep it quiet until later so you end up buying tickets for both tours.

now i think about it actually, their new album should be out around summer, so there would be a headline tour then.

Has anyone on here ever leaned into someone at a gig more than they needed to just because they had really really nice smelling hair?

I swear someone was doing this to me on the tube today, but then my hair does smell reeeeeeeeeally good today *sniff*

lol

in other news, i took part in a "focus group" for xfm scotland today. i got free pizza, beer and xfm "goodies" in return for telling them what they should be playing on their radio station. i made a special request that they start playing frank's stuff, as i've been quite annoyed by their failure to even mention him thus far... wonder if it'll work

I have the world's toughest stubble. I can trash a gillette fusion blade in 2 shaves (although allegedly they're secretly designed only to last 4 anyway). My girlfriend got me this new shaving cream from Lush (she's big on animal rights) designed for men with tough stubble, and it turned my usual forceful scrape over the cheeks into a delightful slide. I think it's the first time I've shaven in ages and come away from the experience without lacerations, grazes or rashes to deal with afterwards.

I think I'll have to try that stuff.

On a completely unrelated note, the comments on this video amuse me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwGbx82tMv0 I wonder if any of those people have taken the time to write a hate email?

that's really good. i always thought working in a rental shop would be a pretty easy/decent job as well, i might have to check to see if they have any vacancies when i eventually get fired from my current job (probably soon). report back if its shit though.
