FIFTEEN HOURS!!! Congratulations and all, but I bet that hurt.
When I got to T2 (ie: when I'd done 2.4 miles of swimming and 112 miles of cycling, and still a 26.2 mile run to go), I arrived at the dismount line to get off my bike and I saw a guy surrounded by medics. He'd collapsed at the dismount line, unconscious. They carried him away on a stretcher.

The point is that once you get to that line, you can get off your bike and walk into T2, sit down quietly, then take as long as you need to settle down and refuel before you carry on with the run. But this guy's body had obviously decided once he saw the dismount line that it had had enough, lights out.

It was that kind of day.

I would have drowned about 20m into the swim

Good work. I'd have loved the all but the run.

Congratulations! You're insane, but incredibly physically fit.

a most fortuitous day, yesterday

won tickets for the Frank XFM Session which is to be aired next Monday
got invited to another gig in the future
then at a loss for something to do we decided on the off chance we would see if there were any cheap returns for Wicked to be greeted by two guys who were giving two spares away for free

so all in all 3 nights out just cost us the price of food and travel

Sat at my desk drinking a beer. Borderline contentment. Which is a worry.

This was such a bloody brilliant few days. I still don't know how we managed that, I really really don't.
We got to see Wicked FOR FREE :D

Probably a very lame thing to say, but I hope everyone out there in London is ok tonight....

I and my friends are at present but just watched my high street looted on the news and hearing the road around the corner has been closed but thankfully we are no where near Croydon

Did have a close call with my little brother being stuck in Peckham while it was kicking off there but thankfully managed to avoid the diversion which would have trapped him

the people I know in Croydon are ok as well

Everything down my end is fine despite my stupid school mates claiming Kilburn is getting rowdy when the shops just closed early.

My sister went home today after being on holiday with us and she lives in Brixton down cold harbor lane and she said it's completely messed up down there, everything is broken.

I am just at loss for words, I am so angry and frustrated at the stupidity, particularly as it seems like kids who are mainly in my age group.

Me too.

Its awful seeing all the latest reports coming in, knowing this is happening in your friend's neighbourhoods and there isn't really much you can do about it.
