Two races this weekend: National cross country championships on Saturday and 8 mile fell race on Sunday. Did an 18 miler this morning. Legs won't be happy. On the plus side, it'll be my highest mileage week so far (providing I don't get injured).

No I didn't!

And no, it's a horrible place. Think Lancaster on Sea

I suspect I will find out more detail about general med and general surgery, i.e. I will be on cardio or gastro or whatever.

Endocrine should be fun, very brainy specialty. Your placements are ridiculously acute looking at that though... A&E is apparently good to have early, cause then you can do lucrative locums their later. Not that you'll have the time by the look of it!

Took my driving theory test this morning. Passed :-) Somehow managed full marks on the multiple choice section.

Monday morning is soaked in coffee. I'm developing a bit of an addiction of late. Why do I always get addicted to stuff that's bad for me??!!

there's a guy in a village near me who actually got addicted to carrots and was limited to 10 a day by his doctor. i swear i have not made this up.

this article is not about that particular carrot addict, but just to prove that i'm not totally bullshitting...

National cross country champs on Saturday was literally a mud bath. Very hard work, but have to say I enjoyed it (in a sadistic sort of way). Came about half way down the field. Managed to be first woman in yesterday's fell race, but fell over (again). Must try to stop embarrassing myself during races.
