You got a next job in mind, or are you going to chance it in the current market?

It's all true, I'm living a lie. But you broke my heart, "Petey", and so it's just easier this way.
That's right, just get yourself out and run another triathlon. And no funny business at Lexapalooza.

On the jobs front, good luck to those hunting / quitting where they are. Couldn't even if I wanted to these days, so much shit going on work wise and with other projects barely seem to have time to sleep.

I'm job hunting at the mo and it's shite, I hate everything about it - updating the CV, applying for jobs and fucking networking, hate it.

My daughter hanging out with her Uncle Frank at the studio this morning. Undoubtedly giving him some solid advice about production, composition and lyrics.

This describes that picture better than words Image

In job related news for me, I have to begin the whole process for my first job two days after getting back from my work abroad/travels. As if readusting to normal life again wasn't going to be bad enough already.

Oh, and I also need to find a house when I get back to London as well. Still, will worry about all that when I'm back.

Everywhere you can think of online for "media" jobs...anything to do with music really. I'm also getting in touch with all the contacts people throw at me in the vague hope they will know of somewhere/someone offering work.

Also the above pic is so adorable, it should feature in the ep liner notes!

What makes it worse is it was the first time i'd played football in 2 years so i've got that on my left leg, whilst my right leg is essentially lame from having kicked a ball around for 2 hours and used muscles that hadn't been used in fucking ages. I'm currently moving around the office like i've been forcibly bummed
I'd like to think that that's some sort of karma for your comments in the 'computer games thread'. Gutted.
The leg, the walking or actually being forcibly bummed?
Any inconvenience resulting from sport based activities.

On the job front, I finish my current job on Friday and start my new job on Monday. I've been waiting for a promotion in my current job for well over a year now and, oddly enough, the day I handed my notice in I was called into the personell office and offered the promotion. Too little too late.

The guy who's got the job instead of me is quite possibly the world's biggest bellend, so I'm enjoying undermining him in my final week and pointing out everything he's doing wrong.... Not that I'm bitter or anything.

I see the forum subtitle has changed. Has frank abdicated his position as forum king as well, then?

+1.

Martin, I suggest you're too old to do this, cancel your plans, stick with your job and settle down. It's what winners do.
