Yep, I probably should have wikipedia'd who was actually in Kyuss. They were a teeny bit before my time but a lot of my mates loved them and I listened to them whenever I was at their houses, so I was all excited when QOTSA appeared, only to be massively disappointed, to the extent of developing a massive dislike. Along with the Foo Fighters and Jack Black, all that arsehole smug prick crew can burn.

I saw Kyuss. At The Underworld. Blew my tits off.

Seen QOTSA a few times. Mostly in cubs when Nick was in the band. Twice since he left. Not the same by any stretch

hahahahaha...fair enough. They were great and all, but just a band. Nostalgia has made people respect them much more than they did when they were around.

This is true. They certainly have their moments, but they do seem like one of those bands that it's just - for some reason - cool to like.

Like Black Flag.

I'd have had even more fun if it was The Dark Knight.
I'm looking forward to Inception a lot more since I discovered you don't like it
Yes, it doesn't surprise me that you'd enjoy the film with the sub-par dialogue.

My mum banned me from going to Cubs meetings after I got concussion there once. I didn't even get any of the good badges.
