I am doing Tough Guy in Jan 2011, not particularly looking forward to it but a nice challenge to get stuck into in the new year.
Crikey, best of luck with that. Determined to still prove you could have joined the army, Pete? My brother has done the summer version, and says the hanging electrified wire was particularly nasty. You either run for it and suffer the shocks or thread your way through carefully and slowly.
My dad did it just before he turned 60, hence it's the only athletic event he has done that I may be able to beat his time in. All his marathon times are around the 3 hour bracket, some just before some just over, and he didn't start doing those until he was hitting mid 40s!

Nah, don't think so, it's relative pass, only top 30% or so pass, judging by how ludicrously hard I found it I'm very much of the mindset I will not be one of the 30%. Will have to work harder next time.

My brain still actually aches as a result of thinking so much. Can't put sentences together properly and keep thinking of formulae. Bad way to be!

According to the first website that I found on Google, "Monty" is the 17th most popular cat name in Australia.

Australia's #1: Oscar

America: Tigger

Britain: Molly

Interesting stuff!
