I ran the Luton marathon today in 3 hours 42 minutes. Woohooo!! That means I should be able to get a guaranteed 'good for age' place in the 2011 London Marathon.

well I haven't mentioned it for a while, I was waiting for pete to come back, obviously. But it's something I'm a bit worried about to be honest.

Kirsty - that's a fucking great time, well done.

Newmy - you're a cunt ;)

POTD - Barry (aka Oxygenthief) had pics of himself on facebook with a cat called Monty, I was actually talking to him and not you.

Congrats, Kirsty. Though you need to be careful, if you run any faster you may end up in 1955. :)

I have entered the half-ironman triathlon next year, meaning my social life is diminishing as training requirements increase. At this point my target is just to actually finish the thing. :?

Non-drinkers don't have a social life to lose ;)

I am doing Tough Guy in Jan 2011, not particularly looking forward to it but a nice challenge to get stuck into in the new year.

My exam sucked balls. Retakes in June. Boooo.

Crikey, best of luck with that. Determined to still prove you could have joined the army, Pete? My brother has done the summer version, and says the hanging electrified wire was particularly nasty. You either run for it and suffer the shocks or thread your way through carefully and slowly.
